Has it really been that long since we've been here? Man, this year is flying by! I literally can't keep up! We've been up to a lot since our last post. A lot of talking, growing, playing, working. We had some fun visitors this summer!
We TRIED to like fireworks.... but that didn't work out so well. For July 4th Uncle Jake came out for the weekend and we had so much fun! We went to the lacrosse game they host at Sport Authority Center. Afterword, they put on a huge and amazing firework show. We thought T would love it! He really liked the first couple that were set off and was so excited... until the big ones came. He immediately went into, what we refer to as "opossum mode" where he literally makes himself pass out. He just sunk into me and went to sleep. After the show was over he popped his head up and said, "I liked it! Fireworks!" Yeah, as if... So later we tried to play with some at home, made sure to get noiseless and little fireworks. It went great until the people in the circle across from us started setting off BIG (illegal) and LOUD ones. Then he just asked to go inside. :( Maybe next year!
