colorado and what we think so far

We had a nice long drive to Denver. The drive really went well other than Cory's hand needing to be elevated the whole way. In case you didn't hear, the day we loaded up Cory got his hand smashed between a big ol' HEAVY t.v. and a cement ledge. OUCH! But it wasn't broken, just very sore. So he drove the 17 foot truck towing the jeep one-handed the whole way! So much for buying walkie-talkies the week before! He couldn't use his hand well enough to hold the button down to talk. So it was a quiet drive for the both of us, except for Rascal Flatts, or Incubus in the background (or whatever we had playing at the time). Just after we got past the state line we did run into the remnants of Hurricane Dean (and no, not our nephew, although he is just as wild!). The rain came down pretty hard and it got a little scary at times, but we made it through that ok. It was when we hit the city that things got a little dicey... Talk about rush hour traffic! Actually it's more like rush hours. Luckily we don't have to drive through the city to get work. *Phew*
We began looking for houses a couple weeks after we got out here. We started out with a bang going for 10 hours hitting up as many houses as we could! We began putting offers on houses soon after that. We kind of made it a weekly tradition, putting an offer on a house each week. :) But we are waiting to hear back on one right now. Everyone is telling us to count it as ours but we both feel as though we should wait until we get the official yes before we celebrate. Thats it for now check back for more updates.
