What a fun birthday weekend! My birthday was on Labor Day this year, which happens ever few years. It works out great because family comes into town because of the day off! Wa hoo! Allie, Jon and their 2 kids came out, and Ellie and Greg also came! We had a blast! Shannon and Allie hosted dinner one night for all of us on Sunday. SO FUN! I'm so lucky to have so many family members who made my day special!
The night before my birthday was not so fun though. I didn't get any pictures because it was too late and we were too pre-occupied. After spending all day around a dog, Treyson tanked. He got some hives on his face and started with this cough. He is very likely to get asthma, but so far has not shown any signs until that night. At about 11 his cough had gotten so bad that Cory and I were scared. So we took him to the ER to make sure it wasn't asthma and if it was, get the proper medication he would need. Luckily, it turned out to just be post-nasal drip, caused by his allergies, but NOT asthma. Thank goodness! But a scary couple of hours anyway.
Always something exciting to keep us on our toes over here.
