So Cory and I had quite an eventful day on Wednesday! We started the day off with a little snowboarding, which was great fun! It had been just under a year since we had been. I'm still not very good, but can kind of keep up with Cory... sort of. But I think he had fun too! He hit a few rails and things in the park. And the weather was so nice! I was way too warm and had to go to the car in the middle of the day to take the lining out of my coat. Cory got some sun on his face and neck, but lucky for me, my hair was down so I didn't get anything.
After our snowboarding fun, we headed back down the mountain and decided to go check out the Red Rocks. There is actually an amphitheater down there where they have concerts in the summer. We can't wait to go down there for one! After that, we went to The Melting Pot for dessert for Shannon's birthday. It was so tasty! The kids loved it! And after that, we went to Hans and Shannon's house and watched some American Idol and just hung out. Let's just say, all that fun still has me worn out and sore! But we had a lot of fun together! It's great to finally have days off together!
